Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 November 2026
In short: Ansorly answers your business's phone calls with an AI receptionist. You pay monthly and can cancel any time. You stay in charge of your business, your customers and what the receptionist is told to say. Ansorly is a helpful tool, not a guarantee: it can make mistakes, and our responsibility is limited as set out below.
1. Who we are and this agreement
Ansorly is operated by Hassan Akhter, a sole proprietor based in Karachi, Pakistan ("Ansorly", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between us and the business that signs up for, orders or uses Ansorly ("you", "the Customer"). The person accepting these Terms confirms that they are allowed to act for that business.
By placing an order, paying an invoice or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Refund and Cancellation Policy and, where texting is used, our SMS Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. If an order form or signed agreement between us says something different, the signed document wins for that point.
Ansorly is a service for businesses. It is not offered to consumers for personal use.
2. The service
Ansorly provides an AI receptionist that, for your business: answers calls to the numbers you forward to it; gives callers the information you provide; books, moves and cancels appointments in the calendar you connect; takes messages; hands calls to a person you choose; sends appointment reminder texts if you switch them on; and shows you calls, transcripts and bookings on a dashboard (together, the "Service").
The receptionist uses artificial intelligence. It works from the information you give us and from what callers say, and like any person or software it can mishear, misunderstand or make mistakes. You should review the calls and bookings on your dashboard regularly.
Not an emergency service. Ansorly does not contact emergency services. In situations such as a gas leak, carbon monoxide or a risk to life, the receptionist tells callers to leave and to call 911 (or the local emergency number) first. You must not rely on Ansorly to respond to emergencies.
3. Set-up and your account
We set the Service up using the information you give us: business details, opening hours, services, prices you choose to share, service area, staff and how calls should be handled. You are responsible for that information being accurate and kept up to date, and for checking test calls before you switch the Service on.
You are responsible for your logins, for who in your business can use them, and for everything done with them. Tell us at once at hello@ansorly.com if you think a login has been misused.
You decide which calls reach Ansorly, by forwarding your phone number to the number we give you or by using a number we provide for you. Phone numbers we provide stay assigned to your account while it is active. If you leave, we will help you move a number we provided to another provider where the phone company allows it.
4. Plans and payment
- Plans. Each plan includes a number of call minutes per billing month and a number of calls that can be answered at the same time, as shown on our website or your order. Minutes are counted per call, rounded up to the next whole minute, for calls answered and calls made by the Service.
- Fees. Plan fees are charged monthly in advance. Minutes beyond your plan ("extra minutes") are charged at the published rate for the month in which they were used. You can ask us to set a monthly cap on extra minutes, or a hard limit; when a cap or limit is reached, the receptionist takes messages instead of booking until the next billing month.
- How you pay. We invoice you by email (for example through Payoneer) or charge you through a payment provider such as Paddle. Where Paddle sells to you, Paddle is the seller of record and its own terms also apply to the payment.
- Taxes. Prices do not include taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any sales, use or similar taxes that apply, other than taxes on our income.
- Late payment. If an invoice is not paid within 14 days of its due date, we may switch the Service to message-taking only, and after a further 14 days suspend it, after telling you by email. We will restore it promptly once the amount owed is paid.
- Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing month after that notice; you may cancel before then.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you are responsible for:
- Telling callers what the law requires. Some US states and other countries require that callers are told when a call is answered by an automated system or recorded, or that all parties consent to recording. You are responsible for deciding what notice is needed for your business. We can switch on a spoken notice at the start of each call at your request.
- Consent for texts and calls you ask us to make. Appointment reminder texts and calls are sent on your behalf. You must have the customer's consent where the law requires it (for example under the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act), honour opt-outs, and only use the Service for messages about your customers' own appointments, never for marketing.
- What the receptionist is told. The prices, policies and other information you give us, and any answers you approve on your dashboard, are your responsibility.
- Health information. You must not use the Service to handle protected health information under HIPAA unless we have both signed a Business Associate Agreement.
6. Your data
You own the information you give us and the information the Service collects for you, such as call transcripts, callers' names and numbers, addresses, bookings and messages ("Customer Data"). You give us permission to use Customer Data only to provide, secure, support and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy, and as the law requires.
- We do not sell Customer Data, and we do not use it to train or fine-tune AI models.
- We use service providers (listed on our Subprocessors page) to run the Service. They may only use Customer Data to provide their services to us.
- We may use anonymous, combined statistics (for example the number of calls answered across all customers) that do not identify you or any caller.
- When your account ends, you can ask for an export of your call records within 30 days. We then delete Customer Data within a further 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it; backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.
Call audio is processed live to answer the call. Ansorly does not keep audio recordings of calls; it keeps the written transcript.
7. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential, use it only for this agreement, and protect it with reasonable care. This does not apply to information that is public, already known to the receiver, independently developed, or that must be disclosed by law (with notice to the other party where allowed).
8. Our property
Ansorly, its software, voices, scripts, designs and know-how belong to us or our licensors. You receive a right to use the Service for your business while your subscription is active; you may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or build a competing service from it. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service running at all hours and to fix problems quickly, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on services we do not control, including phone companies, internet networks and AI providers. We may carry out maintenance, ideally outside your busiest hours and with notice when it is planned. If the Service is unavailable, calls forwarded to it may not be answered, so we recommend setting your phone to forward to Ansorly only when you don't answer, or keeping a fallback number.
Support is available by email at hello@ansorly.com. We aim to reply within one working day (US Eastern time), and sooner for problems stopping calls being answered.
10. Warranties
We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we make no other promises, including that it is fit for a particular purpose, that every call will be answered correctly, or that it will bring you any particular amount of business.
11. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, jobs, customers, goodwill or data, however caused, even if warned they were possible.
- Each party's total liability arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
- These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, to a party's breach of the confidentiality section, to either party's fraud, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and compensate us against third-party claims, and related costs, arising from the information you gave us for the Service, your instructions, the messages and calls you asked us to make, or your breach of the law or of the Acceptable Use Policy.
13. Term, cancelling and suspension
Your subscription runs month to month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month already paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
We may cancel your subscription with 30 days' notice for any reason, refunding fees paid for the period after it ends. We may suspend or end the Service at once if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if your use puts others at risk or breaks the law, or if a phone company or provider requires it.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For changes that matter, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you may cancel before then; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
15. General
- Law and disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Before starting any legal proceedings, each of us will try in good faith to settle a dispute by talking for at least 30 days. Disputes that are not settled go to the courts of Karachi, Pakistan, unless we agree on another forum in writing.
- Events beyond our control. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as network or power outages, provider failures, natural disasters or government action.
- Assignment. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer it to a business that takes over Ansorly, and will tell you if we do.
- Whole agreement. These Terms and the documents they refer to are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not giving it up.
- Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account; you send them to hello@ansorly.com.
